In an effort to help myself reach my full artistic potential, I have devised a project to bring everything back to their basic components. This involves, a little Pseudo-Science, paint and lots of noise.

This Project is The A-VAAE Gun, or The Audio-Visual Artistic Ability Enhancer which will be worked on in two phases.

PHASE ONE: The Prototype

In lieu of (at this current time) being able to create a single device that plays audio and shoots paint, The Prototype will involve a prepared workspace where THREE guns armed with Primary Colours will shoot canvases while an external source will play the audio.

Working in the same space as SHINY ROBOT (Chris and Joe) and making use of their audio setup to play the noise part of this work. The idea behind the sound is to use only generated sine, sawtooth and square waves, my “scientific” reasoning being that using basic generated sound is as ‘basic’ as sound can get.

PHASE TWO: Beta Test

This part of the project will be completed in Semester two for Project One and will involve the testing of the The A-VAAE Gun.

EDIT: Ok, so I’ve had some other ideas for Project 1. This idea is still floating around the old brainmeats though, so maybe It’ll be incorporated into something else.
